Games do the work a forced round of introductions never does. Put a team on a bowling lane or a darts oche and the quiet ones talk, the competitive ones reveal themselves, and the whole thing runs itself.
Corporate events at Spinners are built around one simple idea: give people something to do. Team socials, away days, client entertaining, staff parties, summer socials and proper team building all run on the same packages, with the games, the food and the drinks bundled into one price per head.
You book once, we set aside the games and the seating, and your team turns up to a table that's ready. No running a bar tab, no chasing people for expenses afterwards, no venue hire fee for a room with a projector in it.
Packages start at eight people and go up to exclusive hire of the whole venue. Everything above eight is handled by our events team, so you're dealing with a person rather than a booking form, and we'll shape the package around your budget if none of the three fit.

How company booking works.
From first enquiry to the day itself, with the notice periods your finance team will ask about.

Send your enquiry. Pick the venue and tell us the date, headcount, the occasion and the budget per head you're working to.

We build the package. Games, timings, food and drinks, either straight off a tier or shaped around what you need.
- 3
Pay in full to confirm. One payment for the whole booking. The date is yours once it's received and we've sent your confirmation.
- 4
Send final numbers and dietaries. As early as you can, so the kitchen and the games schedule are right. Then arrive 15 minutes before your slot.
What your team needs to know
- Dress code Smart casual. No sportswear, so no jogging bottoms, team shirts, tracksuits or sports shorts.
- ID We run Challenge 25. Photo ID is needed for alcohol and for entry after the 18+ cut off.
- Timings Session times are fixed. Late arrival means less game time, not a later finish.
- Numbers Reductions inside 7 days are charged at the confirmed number, and no shows are charged in full.
- Allergens Send dietary requirements in advance. Our kitchens handle allergens, so we can't guarantee an allergen free environment.
- Vouchers Gift vouchers can't be redeemed against corporate, business or private hire bookings.
Competition beats collaboration exercises.
Every game scores automatically, which means you can run the whole thing as a tournament without anyone holding a clipboard.
Split the team into pairs or squads, rotate them across the games and add the scores up at the end. Clayshot and darts reward accuracy, bowling and boules level everyone out, and shuffleboard is where the quiet person on your team turns out to be dangerous.
It works because nobody has to perform. There's no facilitator, no debrief and no trust exercise. People play, people talk, and the team you take back to the office knows each other slightly better than the one you brought.

For launches, client events, conference socials and the annual party, you can take a section of the venue for your team or hire the whole thing exclusively. Your people, all the games, no queue for a lane and no strangers on the next table.
If none of the three tiers fit, we'll build a bespoke package around your budget instead: the games you want, the timings you need and a food and drink package to match. Tell us what the event has to achieve and we'll price it up.
Private hire runs on longer notice periods than a standard corporate booking, at 30 days to cancel or reschedule and 14 days to change numbers. Dates go early, particularly Fridays, Saturdays and December.

Corporate gameplay time is a rotation across the games at your venue, not two hours on one lane. We build the running order around your numbers. Not every game is at every venue, so check your location.

What's the minimum group size for a corporate booking?+
Eight. The Spin, Spin Plus and Spin Pro packages all start at eight people and are booked through our events team rather than online. Send us the venue, date, headcount and budget per head and we'll come back with options, or book a discovery call if you'd rather talk it through.
Any booking of 13 or more is treated as a group booking under our terms, and company bookings are treated as business bookings whatever their size.
How does payment work, and can the team pay individually?+
One payment for the whole booking, in full, in advance. We don't split bills across a team or take individual payments on arrival.
The booking isn't confirmed until payment is received and we've sent your confirmation, and we can't hold or provisionally pencil in a date before that. Anything your team buys at the bar on the day is separate and settled there.
What notice do you need to cancel, reschedule or change numbers?+
14 days' written notice to cancel or reschedule, and 7 days to change your group size. Private hire needs 30 days to cancel or reschedule and 14 days to amend numbers.
Reductions inside 7 days are charged at the number you confirmed, no shows are charged in full, and pre paid food and drink is non refundable including anything unused. Bookings made inside those windows are non refundable, and a rescheduled booking keeps the terms of the original date. Everything in writing to your venue.
Do you run proper team building, or is it just a night out?+
Both, depending on what you want. Every game scores automatically, so we can split your team into squads, rotate them across the games and run the whole thing as a tournament with a winner at the end.
There's no facilitator and no debrief. The competition does the work, and it suits mixed teams because accuracy beats power on most of our games. Tell us your headcount and how long you've got and we'll build the rotation.
Can we hire an area or the whole venue?+
Yes, at all four venues. You can take a section of the venue for your company or hire the whole thing exclusively, depending on numbers and the date.
Private hire has longer notice periods, at 30 days to cancel or reschedule and 14 days to change numbers. Every venue has a photobooth, unlimited on private hire and available on tokens for every other booking.
What food and drink is included?+
A welcome drink for every guest, food from our events menu, and one, two or four additional drinks depending on the tier. Spin includes sides, Spin Plus a 12" pizza, and Spin Pro pizza and sides.
Larger bookings pre order so everything comes out together rather than in dribs and drabs while your team is mid game. Send dietary requirements and allergies at the same time. No outside food or drink unless we've agreed it in writing.
Can we use gift vouchers on a company booking?+
No. Gift vouchers can't be redeemed against any business, corporate or private hire booking, including team socials, client entertaining, away days and exclusive hire, regardless of who bought them.
They do work well as staff rewards, incentives and client gifts, and businesses can buy them in bulk. Each one is valid for 12 months at the venue it was bought for and is redeemed against an online booking by the person you give it to.
Can we bring branding, decorations or an external supplier?+
Ask us first. Decorations, entertainment and outside suppliers need our written approval before the day, mostly so nothing clashes with the games or the fire exits.
Tell us what you're planning when you book and we'll work out what's possible. We'd rather say yes with notice than no on the day.
Is there a dress code, and will the team need ID?+
Smart casual. No sportswear, which covers jogging bottoms, team shirts, tracksuits and sports shorts, and we reserve the right to refuse entry if it isn't met, with no refund. Worth flagging in the calendar invite, particularly if people are coming straight from a site or a gym.
We operate Challenge 25, so photo ID is needed for alcohol and for entry after the 18+ cut off: 6pm at Reading, 7pm at Solihull, Chester and Plymouth. Darts is 12+ only.
Which venues do you have, and are they accessible?+
Four: Reading, Solihull, Chester and Plymouth. All four are city or town centre sites with corporate packages, team building and private hire available.
Accredited assistance dogs are welcome at every venue, always, with no documentation needed. Accessibility varies a little by site, so contact your venue with any specific requirements and we'll make sure everything's right on the day.
