What’s On This Halloween at Spinners

Halloween cocktails all month, a two-day Bottomless Brunch and Killer, the knockout game on Interactive Golf and Electric Darts. On now in Reading, Plymouth, Solihull and Chester.

Your Halloween, sorted

October at Spinners means three things: Halloween cocktails all month long, a Halloween Bottomless Brunch on the last weekend, and Killer, the knockout game that turns a night out into a proper rivalry.

It’s all on at every Spinners venue.

If you’re looking for things to do this Halloween that aren’t another house party or a cinema trip, here’s what’s on.

This Halloween at a glance

  • Halloween Cocktails (1–31 October): Three new drinks at every venue, included in 2 for £15 and 5 for £15.
  • Halloween Brunch (30 & 31 October): 90 minutes of bottomless drinks and pizza for £35 per person.
  • Killer (game spotlight): The knockout game, on Interactive Golf and Electric Darts. Last player standing wins.

Halloween cocktails

Our Halloween menu is at every Spinners venue from 1 to 31 October, with three new drinks.

The drinks

Witches Martini – £12

Absolut Vodka shaken with Blue Curacao, cranberry juice and grenadine, served in a martini glass and finished with a gummy eye.

Spook-tacular.

Oogie Boogie – £12

Malibu shaken with Midori, Blue Curacao and pineapple juice, served tall and topped with jelly snakes.

It’s Oogie’s time to boogie.

Zombie Shot – £4.50

Grenadine layered with Midori and topped with Baileys.

It’s a no brainer.

The deals

Cocktails: 2 for £15, all day, every day

The Witches Martini and Oogie Boogie are both included, and you can mix and match with anything from our classic cocktail menu. Two £12 Halloween cocktails for £15 is a good deal.

Shots: 5 for £15, mix and match

The Zombie Shot is in, and you can mix it with any other shots on the deal. Five Zombie Shots for £15 sorts out the first round of the night.

See the full food and drink menu.

Next up: Christmas. Work parties, festive food and games for groups of 7 to 150, running 16 November to 13 January. See Christmas parties at Spinners. Half term plans? See half term at Spinners, with Family Funday from £12pp on Sundays.

Halloween Bottomless Brunch

Our Friday and Saturday Bottomless Brunch gets the Halloween treatment for two days only, and the Halloween menu is included.

What’s included

90 minutes of bottomless drinks. Choose from prosecco, classic cocktails, draught beer, cider or soft drinks, and the Halloween cocktails are in there too.

Bottomless artisan pizza. Everyone gets their own 8 inch pizza, freshly baked from our stone oven, with three pizzas to choose from. When you finish one, order the next.

Your 90 minutes starts at your booking time, not when you sit down. The team will give you a heads up before last orders, so you won’t miss your final round.

A Witches Martini with your first slice, followed by a round of Zombie Shots before your game, is a good way to spend Halloween afternoon. Book early and you’ll still have the evening free for whatever comes next.

Killer: last player standing wins

Brunch and cocktails are the warm-up. The games are why people come to Spinners. This October, it’s all about Killer, the knockout game where the last player standing wins.

You can play Killer on Interactive Golf or Electric Darts. Add a game when you book brunch, to play before or after your session, or just come in for drinks and a round.

Killer on Interactive Golf

Interactive Golf is putting with a screen that keeps score. You putt real balls into real holes on a shared green, and a big LED screen runs the game and tracks every shot. It’s not a golf simulator, and you never hit a ball at the screen.

Killer is where Interactive Golf gets ruthless.

1. Pick your level

Choose easy, medium or hard. Your level sets how many holes are yours to aim for.

  • Easy: 3 holes
  • Medium: 2 holes
  • Hard: 1 hole

2. Earn your lives

  • To start, you aim for your own holes.
  • Every time you sink a ball in one of them, you earn a life.
  • Get three lives and you become a Killer.

3. Go after your opponents

  • Once you’re a Killer, your opponents’ holes show on the screen under their name and photo.
  • Sink a ball in one of their holes and you take a life from them.

4. Take their Killer status

  • If your opponent is already a Killer, sinking a ball in their hole takes a life and strips their Killer status.
  • They then have to earn it back before they can come after your holes again.
  • That’s when the game turns. One good putt can knock the leader right back to the start.

5. Go for the bonus hole

  • Sink it to win one, two or three extra shots.
  • It can also give you instant Killer status.
  • It’s a risky shot, but it can swing the whole game.

6. Last player standing wins

Take lives, defend your own, and hold on to your Killer status for as long as you can.

It’s easy to pick up and hard to put down. The level system means beginners and regulars can play in the same game. Put your best putter on hard, and give everyone else a fighting chance on easy.

Killer on Electric Darts

Killer works on the oche too, and it’s the darts game that ends friendships until the next round.

  1. Every player gets their own number on the board.
  2. Hit your double to become a Killer.
  3. Once you’re a Killer, go after your mates’ numbers and take their lives.
  4. Lose all your lives and you’re out.
  5. The last one standing wins.

Alliances form, grudges get settled, and the quiet one in the group usually turns out to be the most dangerous. The boards score for you, so there’s no chalk and no maths. The screen keeps track of who’s still alive and who’s hunting whom.

Good to know: with 11 game modes, there’s something gentler to warm up on before Killer. You can’t bring your own darts, because ours are synced to the boards. Find out more about Electric Darts.
